11/03/2010 Wells Fargo Donates Halloween Treats for Sick Children at UMC

Wells Fargo HalloweenWells Fargo Bank treated children at University Medical Center’s pediatric floor and pediatric intensive care unit with treats and coloring books.

Wells Fargo employees dressed up as characters from Toy Story and handed out Halloween bags to all the children being treated on the floor, Saturday October 30th.

Children were excited to receive a treat while in the hospital and some were excited to see Woody and Mrs. Potato Head.  “It’s so nice of them to bring candies to the sick kids. Everyone here at UMC has been so nice” said Christina Arizmendi, mother of Jake, who had just undergone intestinal surgery.

Wells Fargo employee Angelina Granados says that they are hoping they can treat the kids at Christmas time and Easter. “We’d like to make Halloween and other holidays an annual event, especially when the Children’s Hospital opens,” Angie said.
