11/09/2011 UMC Foundation Wins National Children's Miracle Network Award

University Medical Center Foundation received a national fundraising recognition award by Children's Miracle Network for Top Percentage Increase in Small Markets 2009 to 2010. UMC Foundation's 52% increase was called "amazing" by Children's Miracle Network National Director of Training and Education, Val Durant. "Every penny raised in El Paso stays in El Paso," said Christina Aragon, Program Administrator at UMC Foundation. "So many people in our community are excited about the new El Paso Children's Hospital. People are very motivated to help sick and injured children here at home."
