University Medical Center Foundation of El Paso promotes and advocates for viable pathways to health equity, wellness, and high quality of life for all through philanthropy, community education, capacity building, participatory research, and patient care services.
We are the designated, 501 (C)(3) not-for-profit organization for University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC). The Foundation is part of the El Paso County Hospital District, proudly serving the El Paso Southwest Region, a 350-mile radius, through philanthropy and direct support to UMC of El Paso, which is the city’s only non-profit hospital. Our efforts align with UMC El Paso in maximizing access to high-quality care for all who seek services at the hospital.
Founded in 1979 as the Thomason Health Services Foundation and rebranded in 2008 under our current name, we remain steadfast in promoting health equity, wellness, and quality of life for everyone in our community.
