International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every May 12.
Celebrated May 12th, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth, International Nurses Day a day to recognize nurses around the world and celebrate their contributions to the nursing profession. Today we send our appreciation to all the nurses associated with the University Medical Center health system and thank them for the care they provide day in and day out.
