By accepting in-kind donations, the Foundation is able to make medical equipment accessible to those who might otherwise be able to afford them. The equipment is provided to UMC and EPCH uninsured and financially-strained patients only. A social worker at UMC must determine the need and provide a referral to the Foundation for assistance. This service helps patients and their families adapt to short-term, long-term, and permanent care at home.

If you are interested in donating equipment to Project C.A.R.E., please contact Carolyn Williams at (915) 521-7229, Ext. 80528 or  CWilliams@umcelpaso.org to coordinate pick up of items
